MEET THE MAKER 👋
A few years ago, I never imagined I’d be standing behind my own stall, wearing Viking armour and selling things I’d made.
To be fair, I also never imagined I’d own quite this much wood.
I’m Gary, the maker behind Apple Blossom Creatives. What began with a laser and a few ideas has slowly grown into something I’m genuinely proud to put my name to.
For me, this is more than simply making and selling products. It’s about finding creativity I didn’t always realise I had, learning new skills, taking chances on myself and discovering that confidence doesn’t always come before you begin. Sometimes it turns up afterwards, once you’ve already made the terrifying decision to try.
Some of the designs are my own, while others are designs I’m licensed to use. But every item is engraved, finished, checked and prepared by me—usually with a lot of care, several test pieces and the occasional strongly worded conversation with the laser.
Every purchase, recommendation, shared post and conversation at my stall helps this little business grow. More importantly, it reminds me that something which once existed only as an idea has become real.
So thank you to everyone who has supported Apple Blossom Creatives so far. You’re helping me build more than a business—you’re helping me build something I once wasn’t sure I was capable of.
It turns out the bravest part isn’t wearing the armour. It’s having the confidence to show people what you’ve made.
The beard, however, provides excellent emotional support.
