Dayz Off Crafts

Dayz Off Crafts Costume Jewellery, Knitted and Crochet items. All hand made on my Days off from being a busy accountant. My newest crafts are Jewellery making and Decopatch.

By day I am a hardworking stressed accountant working as a partner in practice. By night and on my ‘days off’ my alter ego takes over and I lose myself in my crafts. I have always liked crafting of one type or another, I stared knitting at the age of 8, enjoyed making things at school and ended up making my own wedding dress and wedding cake and made most of my daughters clothes when she was young

. I went through a phase of doing cross stitch and tapestry but all through I have always continued with knitting and crochet. I am currently a student at Surrey Jewellery School one evening a week and I love it. Jewellery making and bead are sooo addictive.

So here is my first attempt at 'book folding' I used an old National Trust handbook which I thought was rather apt as dad was a great supporter of the NT.
I think I've now caught the bug as I really enjoyed doing this. It needs some finishing off but I hope you get the gist of it if you've not seen book folding before.
