I filled my TWSBI Root Beer fountain pen and oh my, it writes like a dream 😍

I wasn't sure I'd made the right choice going for the medium nib but I absolutely love it!

Inked with Tono and Lims 'Basketball' ink which compliments the pen colour perfectly and is so smooth when writing ❤️.

Life mini notebook and the Twsbi pen where both from Art from the Heart ❤️

A few people have asked me how I remember everything that we do on our trips... Here's a little flip through to show you!

I make notes in my little travel memo book. Each day of the trip gets its own memo page - I record what the weather was like and what we did on each day.

This acts as a little reminder of the trip ready for me to journal from when I return.

I do this for three reasons,

1. My holidays and getaways often don't include an awful lot of relaxing time 🙈 Normally more exploring time, so this means not enough time to journal the trip properly.

2. I love the feeling of journaling the trip once you're home, it means that you get to relive all of the adventures and it extends the trip in some ways 😊

3. I have a lot more stickers, washi and journaling supplies at home than what I can travel with ❤️

The difference between before the trip and after the trip 😍

The photo doesn't do it justice with how much is on there - mixture of receipts, postcards, patches, leaflets and everything in between all to help me record our travels 😍

Copper Energel Alloy RT by Pentel UK and it writes like a dream 😍

I went with the Root Beer Eco by TWSBI in Medium nib, I normally go for EF or F but I fancied trying something different. I can't wait to get it inked, now just to decide what ink 🙈

My journal essentials for this trip 😍 I tend to journal the full trip when I'm back, but I do make notes and write when I'm exploring so I can capture the moment.

One of my favourite things about traveling and visiting new places is collecting little paper treasures to journal the trip with afterwards. Receipts, postcards, paper bags, maps and sometimes even food packaging 😍

So, in order to keep them safe and in one place I've started making this cute little folder - decorated with lots of stickers and one of my journal cards!

This is before the trip - let's see how full it is after we return 😍

You can never have too many pens ❤️ Swipe to see up close.

Here is a little look at my collection, every pen has its own story and each one I love in different ways. From the reliable ballpoint, ease of the rollerball, to the beautiful flow of fountain pens, it all depends on what mood I'm in to which I use on a day to day basis.

At the moment, I'm using my Ellington Fountain and my metal Sharpie S Gel the most 😍

I'm hoping to add a TWSBI to the collection next 🙏
