Now it’s sunk in… I won Best Wedding Cake Designer at the Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards.

And just like that it’s back to reality, doing what I love most 🤍
Wedding season is about to kick off, and things are getting busy in the studio.

Wow… I only went and won 🥹✨ I’m still pinching myself.

For Cakes of Curiosity to be chosen from so many incredibly talented cake designers as the winner in the Cakes category is truly mind blowing.

A huge thank you to Guides for Brides for hosting such an amazing wedding industry awards evening — it was such a special night. Being surrounded by so many talented, supportive suppliers at the stunning Oxford Town Hall was incredible. The level of talent in that room was outstanding, and I feel so honoured to be amongst the winners.

This award, recognising both my work and customer service, means more than I can put into words. I pour my heart into every single cake I create, and being part of so many beautiful wedding days is the greatest privilege. Knowing that this is felt and reflected back through my couples kind words means everything.
Thank you — truly — to every couple who has supported me and taken the time to leave a review. I wouldn’t be here without you.

The past few months have been a difficult time for my family, and after stepping away to be with my boys, I came back with even more determination to do what I love. To have that recognised in this way means more than I ever thought possible.

I love this stage of the design process — taking inspiration from your wedding details and transforming them into a bespoke cake design that is uniquely yours. From those first pencil lines through to the finished cake, every element is carefully considered and crafted with attention to the finest details.

Seeing the final cake brought to life exactly as imagined is always such a special moment. 🤍
