I do love this William Morris peg bag. 💙 We had NO rain yesterday, so it was great to dry some washing on the line at last!
I also started refurbishing an old wooden box that my parents always kept as storage in the bathroom. Its a great box and I always knew I wanted to use it in some way and now I have a plan. So yesterday I sanded it. Keep an eye on my stories... or maybe I should make a reel, what do you think?

I have one of these Peg Munching peg bags going in the post tomorrow, so instead of sewing one, I sewed six! 🤣 Love batch sewing.
OK I admit, it did take a few days to make that many! 😜
Anyone else love batch making??

Did you know my Christmas Crackers are not only eco friendly, they're dog friendly!! In fact Nico was my inspiration in creating this sewing project 🐕

A few years ago, Nico encountered her first Christmas Crackers at a party and she was so frightened, she was shaking like a leaf 😢 All those bangs coming randomly were just too much for her (fireworks she sleeps through by the way) 💥

This design pulls apart just like a traditional cracker, but there's just a crackle of velcro which has Nico's seal of approval 🐾

Christmas Crackers, do you use them?🤔
I grew up with them in the 1960s and 70s and continued buying those paper ones filled with plastic toys into my adulthood. Then I stopped when I realised how bad they were for the environment as the whole thing just went in the bin, when we cleared away the Christmas Dinner table. 🎅

Well, two years ago I made myself a whole batch of them from beautiful cotton fabrics, and I now reuse them every year.. no more waste! Now I just need to buy some little gifts to go inside.

This is throwback to earlier in the year when I was able to hang loads of washing outside, and before the googly eyes were a thing! 👀

It feels like its rained every day for a week here in Lancashire. What about you, any chance of hanging washing out where you are? 😆
