Rare late ‘Executive’ series. East Indian rosewood veneer (CITES exempt), twin cupboards + pull-out drinks dispenser. Recessed aluminium pulls, plinth base, stupidly heavy but top build quality.

Good vintage condition. Even warm fade to the rosewood.

Restoring pieces that have been painted back to ‘stock’ is a true labour of love. Considering the time consuming work, involving scraping/sanding/scrubbing/stripping, you never start one of these projects for the £££. It’s for the sheer joy of restoring a 50+ year old classic back to as it should be.

In this case, a 1960s Danish desk, has been painted and the paint is deep into the grain. It’s going to take a while…😬 but it will be worth it.
