Some dog breeds are significantly more sensitive than others - and most owners only find out once the problems have already started.

Pedigree dogs are inherently more prone to gut sensitivity than mixed breeds, and without the right daily support, that sensitivity tends to show up in ways that are frustrating and expensive to manage.

A daily probiotic is one of the simplest things you can do to get ahead of it - link in bio to shop ours.

Share your breed in the comments and I'll look to include them in the next video.

Sara watched Nell lose weight rapidly while vets cycled through antibiotics, deworming treatments and best guesses - and nobody could tell her what was actually wrong.

What followed was one of the most common and least talked about cycles in canine gut health: repeated medication on an already sensitive gut, with no real answers and no improvement.

If your dog has been through something similar, share their story in the comments. You're not alone, and it might help someone else going through the same thing right now.

Most dog owners stick to the same handful of vegetables in their dog's meals, and miss out on some of the most powerful natural compounds available.

Vegetables should make up around 8-10% of your dog's bowl, but variety within that small percentage matters more than most owners realise. Rotating what you feed every few days keeps the gut microbiome diverse and ensures your dog benefits from a wider range of nutrients.

These three are worth adding to the rotation.

Save this for your next supermarket shop.

What separates a dog that thrives into old age from one that deteriorates early is something most owners underestimate.

After 700 consultations, a clear pattern has emerged - and it starts long before a dog is ever classed as a senior.

The supermarket pet aisle is designed to make you feel like a good dog owner. Most of it is doing the opposite.

Dog nutrition has been commercialised to the point where the products that sell the best are often the ones doing the least or actively causing harm.

Three things in particular are worth avoiding entirely. Watch to find out what they are and save this for your next shop.

PART 2: What over 700 consultations with sick dogs have taught me.

Puppies get sick pretty easily. It's imperative for owners to understand the risks and how to prevent further issues in the long run.

Follow along for part three and comment below if your dog has a known food intolerance.

Sensitive skin in dogs is one of the most common complaints I see, and it's almost never just a skin problem.

Chronic itching, redness and flaky skin in dogs usually traces back to what's happening in the gut. And one of the most effective places to start is something most owners overlook completely when they're building their dog's bowl.

Comment below if your dog has sensitive or itchy skin, we may be able to help point you in the right direction.

I get asked this all the time: why did I become a dog nutritionist?

This new series, The Dog Health Show, is my answer.

Behind every "we've tried everything" story I hear, there's usually a pattern: owners who've spent thousands at the vets, gone back and forth with no real answers, and no one ever mentioned the simple stuff. Sometimes it's a food swap. Sometimes it's just knowing what to look for. It's rarely as complicated as it feels.

This series is about the untold stories: real dogs, real owners, real transformations - and the nutrition science behind them.

Follow so you don't miss an episode, and tell me in the comments: what's the one thing you wish you'd known sooner about your dog's diet?
