💐 Wishing everyone a happy Easter and a lovely weekend 🐣

This beautiful collection of keepsake bears went to their forever homes a couple of weeks ago, to be cherished and celebrate memories of a much loved one 💕
The lovely lady that commissioned me to create these six adorable memory bears knew exactly which treasured garments she wanted using on each bear 🧸 …including pjs, dressing gown, painting shirt, to name a few 💕
As you can see, lots of elements of the pieces of clothing have been included in each bear, from collars and cuffs to buttons, belts and pockets.
Often my bears are created, through a system of layering the fabrics, to give the illusion that the bear is indeed wearing the clothes.

It always feels like an honour to be trusted with such precious memories 💕
These five beautiful bears were created, to the customer’s specifications, in memory of a very much loved Nana 💕
As many details as possible were incorporated into each memory bear, such as collars, buttons, zips and even a cotton handkerchief sitting in a pocket.
The garments were shared amongst the bears and yet each one worked out so unique.
They were an absolute pleasure to create 💕

Using knitwear to make a keepsake takes lots of preparation and careful placement of pattern pieces but I absolutely adore how they turn out!!! 🩶🤎🥰
Heart shaped felt patches were added to the feet to allow for personalised embroidery 🤎

I have rather a backlog of bears to share with you, nothing changes! 🙈
This beautiful pair went to their forever home in January, to remember two very special people 💕
Each keepsake is made from just two items of treasured clothing, I think the knitwear works so perfectly along side the checked shirt and the floral fabric 🤎🩷
