Reading the horror stories this week about venue dressers and wedding suppliers going into administration has been heartbreaking for the couples affected.

The best advice we can give is to do your research before booking any supplier. Look for genuine reviews on platforms such as Hitched, Facebook and Google, and be cautious about paying your full balance upfront. If a supplier is offering a huge discount for paying in full at the time of booking, it’s worth asking why.

At Rustic Wedding Blooms Hire & Co., we take a 50% deposit to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 1–2 weeks before your wedding during your final check-in. This gives our couples peace of mind while allowing us to prepare everything for their special day.

People often say that if something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Our pricing is lower than some other venue stylists, but there is a simple reason for that. Tracey hand-makes all of our displays here in-house rather than having them manufactured overseas and shipped in. By cutting out the middleman and expensive shipping costs, we’re able to keep our prices competitive without compromising on quality.

We also specialise in one signature range – our Italian Ruscus collection. By changing and adapting the colour schemes rather than storing multiple ranges, we keep our overheads lower, which helps us keep our prices affordable for our couples. We also offer bespoke pieces for purchase through our sister page.

The main point we’re trying to get across is this: please do your research on your wedding suppliers. Whether you’re booking a venue stylist, florist, photographer, DJ or any other vendor, take the time to check reviews, ask questions and make sure you’re comfortable before handing over your money.
