“The largest show seen along the A595 was again to be found in Cockermouth this week, and whilst some vendors were on standstill’s, trade certainly wasn’t, with the SQQ being 61p per kilo ahead of last years sale, as with the cattle on the whole a more commercial offering was forward on the week, however top end trade once again was heads and shoulders above other outlets, ewes once again were flying too, its a great time to be in the sheep game!”
