β€οΈ A PERSONAL UPDATE REGARDING FRANKIE AND ROOS AND OUR FUTURE β€οΈ
Tomorrow will be our last day trading at 13 Bushmills Road.
Many of you have been asking why we've made this decision, and Emma has given me permission to share our story.
As many of you know, Emma has been very unwell. Just last Monday doctors told me they didn't think Emma would make it. She was suffering from sepsis, fluid on her lungs and around her heart, and multiple organ failure. It was the most frightening and heartbreaking time we have ever faced !
Thankfully, and defying all the odds, Emma has come out the other side. She still has challenges ahead, but we're incredibly grateful that she's still here with us today. β€οΈ
You all know that we've always kept you in the loop throughout Emma's journey. The support, prayers, messages and kindness shown to us have meant more than words can ever express.
Going through this experience has made us take a long hard look at life, family and our future.
Running a shop comes with huge commitments. While we only operate Wednesday to Sunday and don't trade on Mondays, Tuesdays or evenings, the rent, rates, utilities and all the other costs still have to be paid whether we're open or not.
We've also received many messages asking about outdoor catering, events and private functions.
After a lot of thought, we've decided that moving away from a fixed premises is the most flexible option for us as a family. Being mobile means we're no longer tied to a shop and can focus on Emma, family life and growing our little business at the same time.
The good news is that Frankie & Roos isn't going anywhere! π
We'll still be available for outdoor catering, private functions, sports events, fundraisers, community events and much more. In fact, being mobile will allow us to be even more flexible and better cater for your needs.
Most importantly, this is not the end of Frankie & Roos in Coleraine. We are actively looking at options and as soon as we secure the right location, we will let everyone know about our Coleraine relocation plans. β€οΈ
And don't worry, we'll be back up and running again before you know it. After a short break to get our new catering unit ready, we'll be back with exciting new plans and a fresh chapter for Frankie & Roos.
Ps ......... here's the one the village has been waiting for
π₯ RASHARKIN... WE ARE COMING FOR YOU!
We can't wait to share more details with everyone when the time is right.
π’ A quick note regarding vouchers and loyalty points:
Any Frankie & Roos vouchers and Causeway Eats Loyalty Points can be redeemed tomorrow on our final trading day at 13 Bushmills Road. If tomorrow doesn't suit, don't worry β all vouchers and loyalty points will still be honoured when we're back up and running after our short break. We want to make sure none of our loyal customers lose out. β€οΈ
As we close the door on 13 Bushmills Road tomorrow, we do so with mixed emotions. We've made so many friends, served so many wonderful customers and created memories that we'll cherish forever.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting Frankie & Roos, supporting Emma and supporting our family through the toughest chapter of our lives.
This isn't goodbye.
It's simply the start of a new chapter. β€οΈ
