A little Maison de Pomme update… 🍎
As some of you will have noticed, Maison de Pomme has been rather quiet lately.
Unfortunately, I’ve had the Grim Reaper chasing me around for the last few months 😂 and I’ve been busy having surgery, chemotherapy and generally trying to convince him he’s got the wrong address.
So understandably, Maison de Pomme has had to take a bit of a back seat while I concentrate on getting through treatment and getting myself back on my feet.
BUT… apparently I’m incapable of sitting still for too long. 🤦♀️
While I’ve been at home, I’ve started experimenting with something new, and I’m so excited to introduce the next little chapter of Maison de Pomme – Scented Apothecary…
Handmade candles AND handmade candle & trinket holders. 🕯️✨
And when I say handmade, I mean made by me, from scratch. The vessels, the trays, the candles, the little details… all created and finished by hand.
Progress is going to be slow while I’m still having treatment. Some days I can happily potter away making things, and other days the sofa wins. So there won’t be huge quantities or constant releases. For now, I’ll simply be creating when my body allows me to.
This autumn collection is the beginning 🍂🎃🤎 and I have SO many ideas bubbling away for what comes next.
It feels rather lovely to be making something beautiful during what has been a pretty rubbish chapter.
Maison de Pomme is still here. I’m still here. And apparently neither of us is finished yet. 😉🍎
