💜🪷 Good morning and Happy Saturday everyone! 🪷💜

I just wanted to share a little update on the gradual progress of my future happy place…

It’s definitely been a slower journey than I first imagined, but when I look back at where it started, I can really see just how much has changed already.

New doors, fresh woodwork, a much cleaner frontage and little by little it’s starting to feel more like the home of Lotus Flower Gifts. 🥰

There is still plenty to do, and I’m still very much embracing the dust, tools and building work for now 😂, but every small change is another step closer.

I’ll keep sharing the progress as it happens… because I think the messy middle is all part of the story too. 🌿

🪷💜 🥰 Good morning everyone 🥰 💜🪷

I am sorry that I’ve been a little quiet this past week over here. I’ve actually been working away for four days and four nights on a private care break with one of my ladies, so it’s taken me completely away from home, private life and social media for a few days.

I’m back now though… and I appear to have returned to what can only be described as a new stock invasion of my lovely home! 😂📦😳

Lots of lovely new deliveries have arrived while I’ve been away, so this morning I’m still so busy unwrapping, sorting, coding and pricing everything ready for the shop.

And yes — the little peeks I’m sharing in this Poster today really ARE some of the actual newbies currently taking over my home! 😍💜

🌿🪷💜 Good Morning my lovelies… and Happy Wednesday! 💜🪷🌿

I thought I’d start today by introducing you to another colourful card range that will be joining me at Lotus Flower Gifts… this time from UK artist Eleanor Bowmer. 🎨💌

I chose Eleanor’s designs because they’re bright, vibrant, full of personality and often have those lovely little positive and wellbeing messages that I love! 🌈🥰

Her work is already stocked in well-known places including John Lewis and Next… so quite frankly, if she’s good enough for John Lewis, she’s good enough for Lisa at Lotus Flower Gifts! 😂💜

I’ll also be stocking some of Eleanor’s gorgeous homeware once the boutique opens, so keep your eyes peeled for that too. 👀✨

For now, her cards are available to purchase directly from me and are £3.50 each. 💌

💜🪷🍂 Welcome to September everyone 🍂🪷💜

Sorry I’ve been a little quieter on here over the last week. My private care work has brought a few extra unexpected shifts, which has kept me away from social media, and then I’ve been busy with my lovely two-day Yurt event over Bank Holiday weekend, taking along BLOOM BAGS, tarot cards and lots of other spiritual little treasures. ✨

Behind the scenes though, I’m very much still here! The shop is still a work in progress and I’m keeping a close eye on everything as it moves along. I’ll share a few more photos this coming week so you can see where things are up to.

I’m also starting the time consuming but necessary job of pricing and coding stock, including lots of lovely new pieces that are already here waiting. My hope is that by getting as much prepared as I can now, it will shorten that final mad dash when I actually come to open!😂💜

There’s still so much I haven’t shown you yet, and I’m deliberately holding some things back because I don’t want to reveal the whole shop before the doors have even opened… but I’ll keep sharing little peeks and bits and pieces along the way. 🥰

So although I may occasionally disappear from your feeds for a few days, Lotus Flower Gifts is still very much blooming in the background, and trying to catch up with you all in my own feed line. 🪷🌿

Here’s to September, a little seasonal change, and so much still to come… It’s exciting times for us all!

I thought I’d start the day by introducing you to another lovely card artist I’ve personally chosen for Lotus Flower Gifts… meet Jessie, from Jessie Maeve Studio. 💌✨ Jessie Maeve Studio | Greeting Cards on IG.

Jessie creates beautiful, colourful contemporary greeting cards from her small independent studio in London, and I just LOVE the fresh, meaningful feel of her designs. 🥰

The cards I’ve personally chosen from Jessie are very much what I personally class as wellbeing and meaningful message cards, alongside beautiful designs inspired by nature, the great outdoors, wild swimming and embracing our life outside. 🌿🌊✨

They just feel so right for Cornwall, and for anyone who feels happiest when they’re connected to nature, wellbeing and the world around them. 💜🌏

As always, I’m choosing cards from independent artists and small businesses around the UK, rather than simply filling my shelves with the usual big-name ranges.

Well… another Bloom Bag has been off on its travels! ✈️☀️🌊

I absolutely LOVE receiving your photos, and this time it’s lovely Jules, taking her Animal Print Bloom Bag away on a family holiday to beautiful Greece! 🇬🇷😍

And honestly… could I have asked for a better Bloom Bags model?! 🥰 From days out in the sunshine to literally walking it into the sea!

And just to give you an idea on sizing, this is actually one of my SMALLER Bloom Bags totes! 😍

Customers who have bought the smaller size keep telling me they can’t believe how much they can still fit inside. With the 5-inch side gusset, plus a top zip fastening, they may be called small… but they’re certainly not short on space! 👜🌿💜
