We are delighted to announce that, from Thursday 17th September, our Artisan Medjool Dates will be available at The Greedy Goat in the beautiful village of Hurworth.
The Greedy Goat is a wonderful new home for our handmade dates, and we are pleased to be joining its carefully curated selection of local treats and fine foods.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been creating something rather special for Christmas…
Our Christmas Around the World collection will bring together eight artisan Medjool dates, each inspired by a different festive flavour, tradition, or destination.
Seven are already decided.
But there’s one still waiting to be discovered…
And we’d love you to help us choose it.
Perhaps it’s a much-loved Christmas dessert, a traditional sweet from another country, a festive cocktail or simply a combination of flavours you think would be irresistible inside one of our dates.

LAKRIDS OF BULOW & FENNEL
Every one of our artisan dates is made and decorated by hand.
No machines, no mass production — just lots of chocolate, a steady (ish) pair of hands,and plenty of attention to the little details.
We make them in small batches, taking a little time over each one. From filling and dipping to the final decoration.
It’s all done by us, by hand, here at The Date Deli.

We’re loving our new Turkish Mint flavour.
A soft, delicate Turkish Delight dusted in powdered sugar sits inside rich chocolate, with the real minty punch coming from Italian peppermint oil.
And then there’s the crunch… organic cacao nibs add a wonderfully pungent, slightly bitter edge that cuts through the sweetness and brings the whole thing together.

A Muddle of Moomins....
The Moomins are returning to our menu this month!
Imagine a plump Medjool date filled with light vanilla sponge and strawberry jam, inspired by the simple, comforting food found in Moominvalley. It’s coated in smooth milk chocolate and finished sprinkles and Moomin character cookies.
A little treat that feels nostalgic and comforting, just like a moment spent in Moominvalley.
The Moomin stories were written and illustrated by Tove Jansson, a Finnish author and artist.

You Asked. We Created.
Some of our favourite flavours begin with a conversation.
Recently, I asked a lovely customer “What would you love to see on the menu?”
She answered ..... TIRAMISU. 🤎
So we took her idea and turned it into a Date Deli creation.
A plump Medjool Date filled with Espresso-infused Ladyfingers and a silky Mascarpone Truffle, enrobed in rich Dark Chocolate and decorated with White Chocolate coated Coffee Beans.
All the indulgent, bittersweet beauty of a classic Tiramisu — reimagined as an irresistible little Date Deli bite.
Available online & on the counter at A STILL LIFE from Saturday 22nd August.

TURKISH MINT
Available from 22nd August at A Still Life, Crathorne
A plump Medjool Date generously filled with fragrant Mint Turkish Delight, enrobed in velvety Mint Chocolate and finished with a delicate scattering of crisp Cacao Nibs. Cool, aromatic mint meets the deep caramel richness of the date, with bittersweet cacao adding an elegant, satisfying crunch.
