📚 Personal Read Review 📚

I finally finished Heartless by Elsie Silver and when I say finally it only took me two day 🤪 Loved the previous book to this one but lives this one more!

Grumpy single dad, sunshine nanny, small-town ranch vibes — this one was such an easy, addictive read. The banter was fun, the chemistry was 🔥, and I loved the softer family moments mixed in too.

Definitely one of those books you pick up “for a chapter” and suddenly it’s way past bedtime. Predictable in places, but in the best, comfort-read kind of way.

If you love swoony, spicy romances, this one’s for you 💕

It’s back to reality for me this week – kids back tomorrow and my first full working week kicking off today. Let’s get 2026 started!

MJ Alridge is a firm favourite of mine. His writing style is gripping, detailed and always twisty! I’ve never read a book from him so far which I haven’t rated 4.5 stars or above! Here is to the next one ☺️
