Here is a behind-the-scenes look at how we take a scale component from concept to finished product:

Our Process

1. CAD Modeling:
We design every component from scratch in 3D CAD, precise down to the millimetre—capturing exact hinges, dogs, frame recesses, and scale proportions.

2. 3D Rendering:
Before sending a file to the slicer, we render the model to inspect draft angles, surface relief, and geometry to make sure every micro-detail will translate cleanly.

3. Precision Resin Printing:
The finished print fresh off the printer. Using high-resolution photopolymer resin allows us to produce razor-sharp, physical parts ready for assembly or painting.

Whether it's custom fittings, replacement parts, or bespoke scale details, we handle the entire pipeline in-house to make sure the final result is dead-on.

Another batch of our 1:96 scale warship fittings being printed, packaged, and prepared for model builders around the world.

This week we took a little break from the shop and finally managed to get away for some much needed family time.

Tomorrow we’ll be back open, getting all orders packed and sent out, restocking shelves, and getting back into the workshop.

This crane was made from:

• plastic card
• plastic rod
• glue

That’s it.
Some of the best parts of the hobby come from just building and experimenting rather than following instructions.
