This Saturday I’ll be at Darlington Makers Market for the very first time! 🎉

I’ll be bringing a selection of my handmade self-care products from Passionfruit & Penguins, including luxurious body lotions, nourishing hand creams, body butters, sugar scrubs, cleansing bars, cuticle oils and more.

Everything is lovingly handmade in small batches, and I can’t wait to share my creations with you.

A week after Darlington, you’ll find us at the Northallerton Indoor Craft Fair alongside lots of talented local makers! ✨

We’ll be bringing our growing collection of handmade self-care goodies, including nourishing body lotions, bath products, scrubs and our popular rescue balms. Perfect if you’re looking for thoughtful gifts or a little bit of everyday luxury.

There’s also a charity pop-up café supporting the RSPCA Cat Hub, making it a lovely way to spend a Saturday. 🐾💕

Running a small business isn’t just making pretty things… it’s everything behind them too.

Creating stock, designing labels, photographing products, building a website (slowly but surely!), ordering supplies, keeping track of jars, bottles, oils… and somehow trying to keep it all looking calm and effortless.

It’s busy, sometimes a bit chaotic… but also really satisfying seeing it all come together.

Every product really is made, labelled, photographed and packed with a lot of care (and quite a bit of juggling - and it’s all done by me!)

I’m still busy working away on expanding my each of my scent ranges. So far I have hand lotion, rich body butter, sugar scrub, a cleansing bar, cuticle oil and a face cream. At my most recent market quite a few people asked for a matching body lotion. Always happy to oblige, I’ve made a fruity mango body lotion to join the Radiance range. It’s light, easily absorbed, enriched with sweet almond oil and vitamin e and best of all, it smells fresh and fruity! It also has a tiny bit of shimmer for all of you who like to shine!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who came along today to The Hub at Hutton Rudby.💛

Whether you stopped for a chat, had a browse or took something home — I’m so grateful for the support - it means the world to a small business like mine💛

The Hub was great. It’s run by volunteers who give up their time to provide the local community with a welcoming space to go for a catch up and a piece of delicious cake (I had a cheese scone AND a slice of carrot cake and both were delicious! 😋 😳 😋)

My next outing is to Northallerton Town Hall on 30th May.
