It’s day one at the RHS Garden Wisley flower show with the TheNationalDahliaSocietyUK . We’re here until 5pm on Sunday with a marquee full of gorgeous dahlias grown my lots of lovely small scale growers and flower farmers. Do pop along and say hi 👋. I don’t think you’ll ever find as many different dahlias under one roof, or as many people willing to talk dahlias with you 😂.

And finally it rained ☔️ 🌧️.

And finally there’s some colour in the dahlia patch.

But there are also a lot of stunted plants, a lot of plants that haven’t even flowered yet, and too many plants that have been utterly decimated by the bugs this summer.

This has been one heck of a growing season 🫠.

August blooms . The dahlias are slowly starting to do their thing.

Swipe to see my co workers 🐕 🐰 who are helpful as always 😂👌. If you get flowers from me not only are they Devon grown and fresh as they come, they’ll also be picked and arranged under the close supervision of a bunny and a dog. Now that’s the kind of magic you can’t buy 😂.

Tulip season is nearly over so do get in touch if you’d like to order some before they’re gone for another year. 10/15 stems for £10/£15, or a beautiful mixed spring bouquet for £25. Grown right here in the Teign Valley.

Tutti fruitti selection of tulips picked fresh this morning. I still have a fair few patches yet to flower. It looks like I’ll have tulips available for the next 10-14 days maximum, so do message me if you’d like to order some Devon grown tulips before the 2026 season ends.
