I’ve been getting creative with pumpkins & dried flowers.
These autumnal arrangements really embrace the change in season, I have included some of my hedgerow gatherings to really pick this up.
These plus a variety of other pumpkin types will be available at the Northam Market this Saturday!!
Beautiful used as a table centrepiece or simply to grace a mantelpiece!

Heather Cottage Antics 🥩🐔🌱

We’re delighted to introduce another wonderful local producer at Northam Farmers Market! The Gabriel’s, a small local smallholding raising rare breed pigs and outdoor reared chickens with a real focus on traditional, natural farming.

Their pigs are slower grown and outdoor reared for proper, full flavoured pork, with a particular passion for the Large Black, a rare breed native to Devon and Cornwall.

Their chickens also enjoy the great outdoors, spending time foraging on pasture and growing at a slower pace, resulting in bigger, tastier birds.

With small numbers of animals, Heather Cottage Antics can give them plenty of individual care and attention. Their pigs and chickens are able to behave naturally, forage and make use of the land as they would traditionally.

Their feed is soya-free, with fruit and vegetables added when available, and medicines are only used when necessary for the animals’ health and welfare.

It’s lovely to see local farmers and producers putting such care into the way they raise their animals and produce their food. ❤️
