What are "olla" pots?
-Our Terracotta Olla Irrigation Pot is an unglazed porous clay pot which when filled with water & buried allows water to seep through the clay into the soil providing a constant water source to plant roots.
-The benefits include slow release water supply direct to the plant roots which help to prevent pots from drying out during warmer months and for weekends away.
-Simply place the Irrigation Pot in your garden container, part fill with potting soil leaving the neck of the pot exposed. Position plants around the pot adding more potting soil as required.
-Handmade at our UK pottery from quality Staffordshire terracotta clay.
-Suitable for use with a variety of container shapes & sizes.
