It’s Monday! 🐈‍⬛🐾

Time for another week of chaos trying to get my girls to school on time (why do they decide to lay in on school days, but up at the crack of dawn on weekends?!) Then at some point amongst the chaos this week, I will sit down to colour my new A4 print! 🪴😻 I’ve really enjoyed creating this one. Here’s a little snippet!

Think I might even keep it as a colouring page, because who doesn’t love cats, plants & tea?? ☕️🫖

We’ve entered the ‘ber months! My favourite time of the year ☕️ It means cosy jumpers, plenty of cuppas & snuggling up with a good book 📖🪴

For someone who is absolutely horrific with social media… my mission is to try much, much harder, even if I have to come out of my comfort zone 🙏 (why does it feel SO cringy still… I’m nearly 41 years old!)
I wanted to say a big thank you to those few who have purchased a Dolly & Dave Designs item from the Etsy page, even if I went into hibernation for nearly a year 🤣🙈

I have absolutely no idea where these little guys are going, but I’m not ready to give up on them just yet 🙏

Sometimes social media can feel so brutal & imposter syndrome kicks in, but then again, it can be a beautiful place to see so many creatives living out their dreams! 🥰

✨ Just popping on here as I know I’ve been so quiet with Dolly & Dave Designs lately. Sadly, my lovely nanny passed away, it wasn’t completely unexpected but still so heartbreaking.

I’ve been poorly & currently rattling with antibiotics, plus between home educating my AuDHD daughter & trying to manage the day to day of parenting two very different & sassy girls, I’ve well & truly burnt myself out! Currently writing this from bed, feeling a bit fed up!

I’ve not felt very creative for quite some time. Hopefully once things start to ease & I feel a little more like myself again, I’ll be able to pick up the pen & get back to designing those cheeky DCats & friends 🐾
