When this band contacted us in early spring looking for venues for their UK tour, it seemed like ages away!

But now it's here and we're really excited to be welcoming Swiss Indie Folk band Selveya to play live in the shop tomorrow, Saturday 19th. They're supported by UK Folk duo Cherry with the doors opening at 7pm. The event is free with a request for donations for the bands to support their touring costs.

It's going to be a great night and a chance to enjoy some different sounds with an international twist 🎵🎶

This summer, Selveya will be crossing the Channel for the very first time to share our music in the motherland of our band member and songwriter, Chloe Levaillant 🇬🇧
It’s been a long-time goal of ours, and we’re incredibly excited to finally make it happen — especially as we’ll be sharing the tour with Cherry ❤️

The August Bank Holiday is always busy for us but one that fills us up with so much joy 😊 😍

Thank you to Anonymous Festival in the beautiful Borough Gardens, Dorchester, for yet another fantastic day. We always feel so proud of our town and Dorchester Town Council for making this great festival happen. It celebrates local young talent and provides free activities for families just when everyone's a bit frazzled after the long summer holidays. Here's some of the amazing artwork produced in the chill out area, we loved meeting you all and will make sure we bring even more records next year!

Wondering what to do this Bank Holiday weekend? Here's a couple of ideas 💡

We'll be taking the van to 2 of our favourite local events of the year.

On Sunday 30th, it's the Dog, Sausage & Cider Festival at The Springhead at Sutton Poyntz. Always a fun day for all the family including the ones with waggy tails 🐶🐕

On Bank Holiday Monday, find us in the chill out corner at Anonymous Festival in the beautiful The Borough Gardens,

Lots of young local people will be providing the live music and all activities are totally free! It's a perfect way to enjoy a family day out without breaking the bank.

The shop will be open too on Sunday and Monday under the calm and kind watch of our lovely friend Simon.

We had the best time at We Out Here Festival supporting the amazing Activate Performing Arts. Such a beautiful festival with beautiful people and great vibes.

Shout out to Isaiah Dreads for his performance and the highlight for us (amongst so many) was Joshua Idehen who lit up the stage on Sunday afternoon (album just being ordered for the shop crates).

Thank you to everyone involved for making this festival so soul nourishing 🧡🙏🎶🎵

We've got some more international live music coming to the shop on Saturday 19th September from 7pm.

Selveya are an indie-folk band from Switzerland who are coming to the UK for a tour, supported by Cherry (a duo from Canterbury).The event is free but donations for the band on the night please 🙏

We've got local legend Isaiah Dreads putting on another night in the shop on Saturday 12th September from 7pm. He'll be performing some new tracks and bringing along some friends to make it a great night of live music and DJ-ing.

Tickets are £10 available through Eventbrite and don't hang around as they're selling fast. If you would like to come along but might struggle with the ticket price, please do get in touch and we can support with that.

What a perfect place to take the van to play some chilled tunes 🌻🎵🎶

Walking around the field of yellow on a sunny evening at Maiden Castle Farm was truly beautiful and filled us with so much joy. The van looks pretty at home here we reckon 🌻😍
