Yesterday I had a few hours with the boys at the cinema

The shop hours for this week are still going to be shorter due to still having to rest, while adjusting to the new medication
So
Tomorrow closed, as Ralf is going to play for Colchester Utd against Brighton and Hove and I can’t miss this amazing opportunity 💙🙌⚽️

A small delivery came and I’ve restocked the rhubarb and custards along with the Scottish tablet.
Also cinnamon balls have returned to the shop, always a firm favourite xx

Evening, thank you all for the understanding last week regarding my hours but more importantly thank you for all the support and kindness.
The shop hours for the next few weeks will look different to usual as I have been told firmly from the hospital that I need to rest (not sure I’ve ever listened to that 😂) but I think it’s time to finally listen.
Tuesday closed
Wednesday 10.00-2.00 with my amazing friend Chan covering the shop
Thursday and Friday myself 10.00-2.00
Saturday the shop will be closed as it is my last event in a field for a while (I promise)
Anyone who runs their own business no matter how big or small will know that sometimes it’s not as easy to just shut the doors and take some time out. As you know I love my shop and work tirelessly to make it what it is so please all I ask is bear with me for the next few weeks

Short and Sweet is here with a stall today

The day is finally here for the Lawford Summer Fun Festival and the weather looks set to be warm and fine. WIth lots of Music from Rock2pop and Graham Long as well as displays from the Gymnastics and Dance Academy and The Storm Elite Cheerleaders to entertain you we should have a great day. There are over 30 stalls booked with food,drink crafts and fun things to do as well as a whole host of Classic cars and Motor Bikes.
The Lawford Football Club bar will be open so that you can keep yourself cool and Hydrated x

Evening, thank you all so much for the messages, calls, visits to the hospital.
It generally has meant a lot, sorry if I haven’t replied or answered to you all.
I’ve been allowed home tonight but with strict instructions.
Lisa is kindly volunteering to open the shop tomorrow for me 10.00-2.00 so please be gentle with her lol
I am going to come In Saturday for a couple of hours (I will be taking it easy) but the shop will be open 10.00-2.00 again with others helping keeping it open.

Afternoon, really sorry to let you down but unfortunately the shop won’t be open tomorrow.
The rest didn’t work and I’m currently in hospital awaiting on some tests.
Hopefully I’ll be able to go home later today
Fingers crossed for opening Friday xx
