Today I visited the beautiful Burton Agnes Hall . It’s pricy but definitely worth a visit if you re on the East Coast . It dates back to 1173!
Back in 2018 I visited with my family and had very uneasy feelings in The Queen’s Bedroom and on the oak stairs .. I also had the thought that a woman had passed away in the room , it gave me quite sad , heavy energy. As I walked down the stairs wondering why this had popped into my mind, one of the guides was telling the rest of my family the story of Anne Griffith who died after a sudden attack by ruffians . Hers is the legend of the screaming skull πŸ’€ and it is quite a tale !!! She died in The Queens Bedroom as I had thought 😬
The whole house has an incredible atmosphere , a real sense of age and history throughout . I’m not one for silly jump scares or horror films but I do sense residual energy and I do pick up on things I cannot explain.
If you like a good ghost story and a beautiful stately home and gardens , I recommend it . If you go just say hi to Anne, she’s lovely and she loves the house ! πŸ’€πŸ˜‰πŸ–€πŸ‘»

This is so shocking and sad 😒 So young , such a tragic loss for his family and friends . I have been to Nine ladies stone circle many times with friends and it is a lovely peaceful place. Something so dark happening here is just not in alignment with the spirit of the place at all. Whoever did this is clearly psychotic or just plain evil . I hope they are dealt with and justice is served .
May he have a safe journey home πŸͺ½πŸ™ 😒

| Man who died at summer solstice event is named | Reference 26*364216

A man who died at a summer solstice event in the Peak District has been named.

We were called to reports of a man’s body being found at Nine Ladies Stone Circle in Stanton Lees at 1.38pm on Monday 22 June.

Isaac Clare-Watts, from Nottingham, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 26-year-old’s family have now released this image of him and our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident. He remains in custody.

We remain keen to hear from anyone who was at the site over the weekend, as well as anyone with video footage from the summer solstice event, and dashcam footage of vehicles arriving and leaving over the weekend.

A Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) has been set up where members of the public can send us information directly via this link – https://orlo.uk/yWNmP

Information can also be passed to us via the below methods, quoting the reference 26*364216:

Hi everyone, I hope you re all coping with the heat at the moment, stay cool 😎πŸͺ
I’ve had a couple of beautiful signs from the universe/ spirit . Firstly I found this absolutely gorgeous owl feather in my dad’s back garden yesterday which matches the journal I’ve been working on πŸ¦‰πŸ§™ I love owls πŸ–€

Also at my philosophy group we ve been talking about the power of love and looking at quotations from different gurus and spiritual teachers. I pulled an oracle card from my Mystique of Magdalene deck this morning ( amazing cards) and who should appear but Jesus ! ❀️ πŸ™ Beautiful 😍
Share the love , be the love πŸ’– πŸ€—
Have a lovely day everyone β˜€οΈ

β€œBlessed Be” is one of those phrases people hear often in witchcraft, yet its deeper meaning is rarely understood.

It is not just a greeting.

It is not just a pretty farewell.

It is a recognition.

When a witch says β€œBlessed Be,” they are not only saying, β€œI wish good things for you.” They are acknowledging the sacred force within the person standing before them. They are speaking to the body, the spirit, the life, the path, the power, and the mystery that person carries.

In modern witchcraft, especially Wicca, β€œBlessed Be” became closely tied to ritual language and the blessing of the body. It echoed the idea that the human form was not shameful, sinful, or separate from the divine. The feet that walk the path, the knees that bend at the altar, the womb or creative centre that holds life force, the heart that feels, the lips that speak names, prayers, spells, and truths were all seen as worthy of blessing.

That matters.

For centuries, many spiritual traditions taught people to rise above the body, fear desire, silence intuition, and treat power as something outside themselves. Witchcraft remembered something older.

The body is not the enemy of magic.

The body is the temple it moves through.

Your breath raises power.

Your hands dress the candle.

Your voice casts the charm.

Your blood remembers cycles.

Your tears become offerings.

Your spine carries instinct.

Your skin feels the shift in a room before the mind can name it.

So when witches say β€œBlessed Be,” there is an old current moving beneath the words.

It means may your path be blessed.

May your body be blessed.

May your power be blessed.

May the sacred in you be seen, not hidden.

May the parts of you that were shamed, silenced, feared, or forgotten return to holiness.

This is why the phrase still carries weight.

It is not used to sound mystical.

It is used as a small spoken blessing, passed from one witch to another, reminding them that magic does not only live in the moon, the altar, the herbs, or the flame.

It lives in the person who dares to speak it.

Blessed Be.

I had a real blast from the past today. I visited the Steel Cauldron today to see the owls and they had a book on display that brought back a lot of memories. This was probably the first book I ever had about witches and witchcraft ! Prior to this it was the Usborne books and Gobbolino the Witch s cat 😁 This is a beautiful book and it was amazing to find it again ! I have no idea where my book disappeared to so I will have to see if I can get another copy somewhere on the internet !
