Perching New Pullets!!!

We have some new pullets! 🎉

But we have to teach them how and where to perch and roost at night. So once the lights have gone out, I go in with a head torch and pick them up and put them on the perches.

They are learning fast where to go and my job is getting easier.

They should hopefully start to lay in 2-3 weeks time and we will have some wonderful small pullet eggs!! 🥳👏

We scan them to find out how many each ewe is having so we can feed accordingly.
More lambs = more feeding

Hoping the weather is better in April than it is now anyway. ☹️🌬️🌧️💧
