Dursley Summer Festival Theme 4th July 2026

‘You said, we listened’

The Festive Dursley Committee met on 8th June and reviewed feedback received about the American Independence Day Themed Summer Festival. Considering the comments made on social media and to the Town Council. We have decided to change the theme to ‘Love Dursley’ and focus on everything that our lovely town has to offer. We shall also be celebrating Armed Forces Day as part of the Festival.

The original theme was chosen as the date this year falls on 4th July. It was never the intention of the volunteer committee to upset or offend anyone.

Festive Dursley look forward to bringing the community together and supporting our high street on Saturday 4th July. Watch this space for a full line up of entertainment on the day!

So here’s the next instalment.
It’s hard to show all the processes that go into running a shop, as so much is instinctive and led by experience, having been in retail for over 40yrs a lot of what happens is second nature to me.
