Wednesdays are our baking days in the summer season, I hope to pass on my once in a while passion for baking at home. It’s too chaotic to do a live and I don’t have the patience. With working and her schedule we only have time to take the finished pics before devouring it. Luckily we remembered! Happy Wednesday from mine to yours. Verenaisi Salabula-Nakanacagi we baked a banana and choc chip muffins and cake (this was an afterthought, as we don’t have enough to make a full batch of muffins!) all worked out. In the end:-)

A recent trip to Retford Library was a wonderful experience. Situated on Churchgate in the heart of Retford, the library combines a warm atmosphere with a rich local heritage. The building is a fine Georgian house that was once the home of philanthropist Thomas Hercy Denman, who gifted it to the town in 1926 for use as a public library. Today, visitors can still admire many of its original features and explore the Heritage Room containing local archives. 

The library is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 3:30pm, and is closed on Sundays. Parking is available in nearby town centre car parks, including spaces within easy walking distance of Churchgate. The welcoming environment, historic setting, and excellent facilities make it a delightful place to visit and spend a few quiet hours reading or researching.

Are you conscious when reading your book in a public space? This is such a great idea that they do in Japan to protect your privacy.
