The marvellous Hebden Bridge Vintage Fair now has its own Insta account!

The fairs are organised by our Dawn Dolly Dragonflies 3 and all the traders are independent small vintage businesses based in the North.

I’m taking my stall to Hebden Bridge town hall for our 3rd fair on October 17th.

Like a lot of you out there, I became a vintage dealer because I’ve always loved and surrounded myself with old things. I’ve always been driven to preserve and give new life to items other people have rejected. So it really does make my day if I know something I’ve found and “fostered” has gone to the right person!
These absolutely fabulous 70’s camper van curtains definitely found their rightful owner with Naomi Naomi H***e - I’m so chuffed she’s using them for their original purpose!

A lot of vintage curtains I sell get cut up and made into clothing, bags etc… and I’m glad they’re being used and loved, don’t get me wrong… but often, the full beauty of a design can only really be seen when used as it was intended.

Camper van alert!
I’m sooo excited to find these - a set of 3 vintage 1970’s camper van curtains!
Selling as a set - sorry but I’m not splitting. They’re so rare to find, I’d love for them to be used for their original purpose rather cut up, so if you have any vintage camper van owning friends, spread the word!

Totally groovy psychedelic op-art type design, in rich warm yellow orange and browns.
Made from that thick manmade fabric often used for blinds and caravan curtains - anyone know what it’s called?

2 longer ones (for side windows?)Measure 166cm width x 95cm drop. 1 smaller, for back or front? 112cm width x 95cm drop.

In good sturdy unfaded condition. Ready to hang!
👉A couple of light marks, and some pen where a naughty small person has attempted some hand writing at one edge! There’s also a tiny pink pen mark, but I couldn’t find it when I was photographing. None are noticeable.
👉 the longer pieces are not all from one piece, sections have been stitched together.

Vintage Sewings! A pair of gorgeous vintage remnants/offcuts for sale:

🌞cotton paisley print, beautiful design and colours, crisp, never used. Measures 126cm x 55cm. £10

🌞2 long strips of synthetic thickish fabric, obviously cut from bottom of curtains. A few spots and stitch marks, but incredibly vibrant colours and could be utilised for something fabulous! Each is roughly 120xm long x 15cm wide. £4 each, or both for £6.50

🌞And… I found another piece of this fab cat, apple tree print! It’s been stitched down one side, like a cushion cover with both ends open. So you could unpick that and open it up to one bigger piece. It’s 62cm x 47cm so double that if it’s unpicked. A bit faded but still so bright and cheery!

👉Sweet little blue bark cloth cushion cover with zip fastening. A bit faded and a coupe of small spots, but still looks great. 36 x 36cm. £6.50

Sooo…. how amazing is this 1960’s-70’s flower power fabric? I’ve had it stashed away in a case for a while now, but it needs to be out and appreciated!
It’s a kind of thick cotton canvas, as new, completely unused, crisp and fresh. I think k it might be for a sun lounger maybe? It’s hemmed on all sides and they’re open at the corners. Would make fantastic tote bags, cushion covers, whatever.

The colours are really vibrant and unfaded.
Measures about 168cm long x 54cm wide, so it’s long and fairly narrow.
