Hello! 👋 Welcome to Bear With Crafts.

Life got in the way and it’s been a while since I updated the Bear With Crafts page, but I’ve had a few new visitors recently so I thought now would be a good time to check in, say hello, and tell you a bit about the service I offer.

Bear With Crafts make handmade keepsakes from a loved one’s clothing or cherished no longer worn items which have been pushed to the back of a drawer. These unique pieces offer a special way to remember a loved one, or commemorate an occasion/chapter of life.

Whilst I started making memory bears, over time I have expanded my services to include bespoke orders for families whose loved ones had a particular attachment to a different animal - I’ve made pigs, koalas, hippos, I’m happy to accept the challenge of making something unique! If you’d prefer, I can also make memory pillows, or blankets.

Standard memory bears are priced at £50. 🧸

Each bear will need at least one-two pieces of clothing (depending on what items are used), though they can be made with up to eight. Some items will work better than others, and I’m happy to talk you through this when planning your keepsake. When finished, the bears are approximately 14 inches in height.

Please note that while safety eyes are used, the bears cannot be CE tested and are therefore not suitable as toys.

Haven’t posted for a while, but has been a busy time Bear With Crafts in the run up to Christmas. Here are just a few of the special bears who went to their new homes over Christmas.

Six special bears to remember a dad and grandad made from a selection of his favourite clothes. This included a much loved tartan gilet, which he wore frequently - so each bear got their own special waistcoat using the material to remember him by.
