I'm Rob.

I live in North Wales with my partner Claire and our two sons.

My interest in glass started back in the late 1980's after studying at Wrexham Art College under Penelope Somerville.

Developing my skills in stained glass, enamelling and kiln work.

Moving on to the University of Central Lancashire to study for a Degree in Three Dimensinal Design gaining valuable experience in glass art and furniture design.

Developing my glass blowing skills and hot kiln work through slumping and tack fusing techniques. Learning skills in glass polishing, cutting, acid etching, enamelling and linishing. It was a real privilege to share a hot glass workshop with the likes of Layne Rowe and many other artists.

Graduating in 94' I went on to exhibit my works locally. Selling art glass part time.

I've continued to develop my interest in art glass by collecting many genre's of 20th Century Glass over the past 30yrs or so. Improving my knowledge and developing an excellent collectors intuition and eye.

After many years employed and raising a family I decided in 2023 to start a small business based around my hobby. Selling antiques and collectables.

Initially on ebay, I then developed further by selling at antique fairs whilst also opening my first antiques booth at Bygone Times near Chorley in Lancashire.

I hope my love and passion for glass art shows within my business. And my interest in pottery, collectables and trinkets.

Meeting people and learning have been a fantastic part of my journey so far.

I fully appreciate all the help and support given by fellow collectors, sellers and events organisers. And not least the support of all the fantastic customers who have helped make my journey a success.
