A recent acquisition to my own glass collection.

This stunningly executed large contemporary teardrop glass vase.

A studio glass piece produced by Stephen and Léona Lindars who work in partnership as Slyglass.

Based at Cedar Farm Arts & Crafts Centre, Mawdesley, Ormskirk in Lancashire.

Together designing and producing a unique style of modern studio glass. Each piece is conceived, made and finished entirely by hand ensuring exceptional high quality and a desirable exclusivity. Together they have been producing studio glass for over 30 years.

Manufactured during the c1960/70s. Featuring raised green swirls and Aztec-inspired geometric relief bands over a textured beige and ochre glazed body.

The blue theme continues with this excellent Scandinavian Bamboo style glass bud vase.

Designed by Bo Borgström, one of the most well known representatives of illustrious Swedish glass design of the 20th century.

He was the artistic leader for the Aseda glassworks in the 1960s-70s. Borgstrom is represented at numerous museums in Sweden.

Measuring 250mm in height.
