This is it, final weekend of Spektakulär!

A massive thank you to all Spektakulär customers and friends for your love, support and kindness ❤️

I'm so proud of Spektakulär, so happy to be able to have managed my own business while raising my two amazing, funny, clever and beautiful daughters. I'm proud to be able to give them that life. The business was our life and it was the most natural thing. From shopping Xmas lights in Sweden in July to unpacking orders and scanning designs for customers at the till (something magical with a beeping scanner), it was normal life for them. And to my Richard, I'm so grateful! He encouraged me to open my shop, my dream and he has been my rock the whole time.

To all my amazing staff over the years (sadly can't find pictures of you all), who was the face of Spektakulär when I was not there, thank you for sharing my dream, thank you for the trust and for learning to read my mind, made me laugh, made me roll my eyes and made me a good boss. The last few years before we closed the doors on Christmas Eve 2020 was such a struggle, but we adapted. This was a heck of a ride, thank you for being part of it.

Online has so much potential, it could be really great, it would have been amazing to have a funky warehouse and all that jazz, but I missed the chats, the smiling faces, the customers who welcomed me to local community and I have sadly no love for the online shop.
So it is definitely time to let go.

Spektakulär online will close on Monday so please head online and help me clear the shelves, stock up on Scandi/Nordic designs. I even put a cheeky 25% on designs still over £10.

You, Spektakulär followers, you are amazing and I send you so much love and big hugs. Enjoy your day wherever in the world you are.

It is getting very real now and I don't quite know how to say thank you! Your support and love for Spektakulär have been truly amazing, and I want to thank you for your kindness and patience. These last few years has been really difficult and it is tricky to let go of something you created but I am now ready.

I want to give you all a big hug! Your likes, your messages and of course your visits to the shop and your continued support online kept this independent shop alive.

I think it is time for you to head online a final time and treat yourself! The prizes are ridiculously low.

We will close the webshop on Monday as it gives us time to pack and ship before we head home for the summer.

And just like that June us coming to an end, the girls finished school for the summer and my birthday has passed 🥳

In two weeks time we head home for our summer holidays and before that we are closing Spektakulär for good.

There are still incredible Scandinavian designs online and I have dropped the prices even further so head online and stock up your gift pile and/or your special treats.

Here are a few of my favorites, that moose trio makes me giggle, so much fun. Love the large Yarn tray from Finland. Cushion covers from £5, beautiful wool flowerpots perfect to add texture and colours to your home. Frank was the first friendly character to arrive as a tote bag years ago and still a best seller. Love the friends collection, what a treat!

Pappelina plastic rugs are at crazy low prices 😳, sadly I can't add more to my own house (hmmm maybe just one more)!
Lovi wood origami, perfect gift! The trees are stunning, love the white, reminds me of winter with the white snow-covered trees.

We are coming to the end of June, girls have finally finish school for the summer, my birthday has been celebrated.

In two weeks time we head home for the summer holidays and before that we are closing Spektakulär for good.

However there are still some incredible designs online and I have dropped prices even further. Pappelina rugs are at crazy low prices. Perfect for outdoor and indoor living.

I have created a little album for you with some of my favorites.
Love that moose trio, makes me giggle everytime I see them.
Frank was our first every friendly character from Spria of Sweden to arrive years ago and he certainly has been a best seller.
Yarn is a elegant large tray made in Finland in birch veneer.
Of course I have added a moomin bookmark. Such a treat to add to someone's birthday card or birthday book.
Retro inspired espresso set available in grey, white and red. Cute for flowers and tealight as well as strong coffee.
Lovi wooden origami designs, the trees are stunning, love the green for summer and white for winter.
Aveva wool trivets, lots of great colour combinations to be created. Go wild!
And yes the fabulous wool flowerpots, plenty around my house that's for sure, they add colour and texture.
Kim Pappelina plastic rug, if I could add more rugs to my house I would! I have them in our hallway, kitchen, bathroom and by my bed.

Funky and stylish wool flower pots by Swedish Aveva design

I have loved every single flower pot design by this wonderful brand. These funky pots are absolutely incredible and such a unique idea. Wool is a sustainable material, and they add colour and texture to your home. The inside is coated with natural rubber that makes the flowerpot waterproof.

Care info:

Apply natural leather grease to the rubber. Repeat from time to time
If lost shape, use a steamer or the team function on the iron to reshape.
Do not expose the rubber to sunlight
Do not wash or tumble dry
Do not keep excess water in the bottom for more than 2-3 days

Wonderful Lovi. A brand from Finland that focuses on wooden origami. A sustainable brand that spreads so much joy.

It has been such a pleasure to work with this brand over the years. They are wonderful people and they have created the most enjoyable designs.
