Unfortunately it was brought the attention of myself and many other fellow The British Craft House / TBCH sellers that there are a couple of websites that are displaying our products for sale (at reduced prices in euros). These sites do not have permission to do this and any purchases that are made will obviously not be fulfilled and result in disappointment.

I only sell within the UK via The British Craft House and Etsy for direct customers and Faire for my wholesale customers (links to all three can be found in my bio) if you would any like details of bricks and mortar stockists in your area please let me know and I'd be happy to provide.

Thought it was about time I shared something new with you.

Teeny tiny sea urchins, not from a shell that I've found myself although from a shell from Fukoka in Japan which is where the littlest ticketyboo coo visited earlier this year with her pipe band.

Did you know too that sea urchins are often associated with protection, resilience and balance? Basically tiny earrings with big personalities!

Just realised how long it's been since I last posted! and I've no idea what the rules of engagement on instagram are now - hashtags or no hashtags? reels versus posts versus carousels? whats a single caption versus a multiple caption? and why can I only see a couple of lines of my caption when i type!?

Anyway rather than trying to get my head around this I've been focussed on coming up with some up with some new earring designs instead and would now like to introduce you to the latest members to the team!
...Capybaras, zebras, bees and a couple wee slowcoach sloths taking up the rear! 🦥

Cowrie shells or Groatie Buckies - what do you call them? I think it probably depends where you are from.

Whichever you chose though and wherever you are from in the world since the earliest times they’ve been viewed as symbols of fertility and wealth and said to bring you good luck. 😉

These little chaps have been cast in sterling silver from a beautifully textured cowrie that was found on the shores of the Isle of Colonsay. A full replica of the original shell making it nice and tactile for a fidgety wearer!

A busy day at the bench yesterday making some sunset beach pendants.

It always amazes me how the sludgy brown accent gold paste transforms into a beautiful bright bright gold.

Next stop for this lot is the assay office although I do have one already hallmarked available on the ... with earrings to match!
