Peek a boo!
How nice are these locally grown cosmos from Moss Botanicals Edinburgh | Cut Flower Farm with the colourful woollen spools at Dovecot today.

We're delighted to announce we are now listed as a preferred supplier at this lovely venue. I used to go swimming here as a child every week, so it's a wee extra for me to have that historical link. I had a look around their shop while I was there, they have so many beautiful things ❤️

My next events there are two gorgeous October weddings,I'm excited to see them come together in the space.

A 9m marquee hoop installation

A wee flashback to this installation we created for a lovely family for their daughter's June wedding. At 9 metres, this was our largest installation to date using beautiful Scottish foliage and flowers from McConnell Blooms. The scale of the Wills - Weddings | Parties | Events sailcloth marquee and the light airy feeling made a perfect blank canvas for a large statement piece. The hoop hung low over the bar with jasmine, ivy and orlaya trailing to the guests below.

It's really lovely seeing a big project coming together, and happy brides and grooms is what it's all about 🤍

We've had a lovely weekend for my mum's 75th birthday, catching up on admin now. We had a great meeting today on my course The Bright Line with Phillipa Craddock. I've been doing her course since February, highly recommend it to anyone in a creative business. It's lovely to meet so many talented and successful creatives from all over the world and everyone encourages and cheers each other on. 🌟

Working on quotes tomorrow and will be updating for those of you waiting.

We're back next week with delivery bouquets. 🙌

We've had a great week, with a catch up with an old friend of 30 years, a wee floral installation for a friend, a prospective 2027 wedding zoom from Costa Roca, and we've been added as a preferred supplier to a fabulous local venue's list, more on that to follow 🌟

A visit to the wonderful lupepintos this afternoon means we're set up with their fab tortilla and refried beans and I've made some chilli beef 🌶

How lovely is this wee selection of local flowers with a gorgeous handmade jug from my talented ceramicist neighbour Ailsa.

If I had a cottage by the sea I'd put this on my windowsill. 🪟 Maybe one day 🏠 🌊 🌸
