Scavenger hunt for signs of Autumn 🍂

Peak Mabon energy as I found both signs of Summer still lingering but the present knock of Autumn at the doors.

It's here!!

September (Mabon) print club🍂🌻

I've wanted to represent what this time of year means to me in this A5 print and bookmark:

🌻Even though we're approaching the dark seasons, the light and dark are the same length, so there's still much to enjoy from the longer evenings and early mornings!
🌻There are loads of things to harvest at this time of year, and it's great to appreciate everything that we've work so hard to cultivate throughout the year! Essentially, a reminder to be kind to ourselves and remember all the good stuff there's to be grateful about 👍🏼
🌻Life can be very sweet this time of year (like a perfectly ripe bramble or a juicy apple!)

I'm also going to include a wee sticker in each seasonal pack :)

Head out to the Shopify link in my bio to have another wee look! 👁️

The next phase of the Seasonal Print Club is a go! 🌿

On these frames I'm wanting to share a bit more about why I'm putting so much effort into this lil Print Club.

If you make it to the end, you'll also see it LIVE!

I'll be running the Print Club every solstice and equinox, following the Celtic wheel of the year. I've found that it explains the seasons in a way that makes more sense in my mind.

The next set of artwark will be the Autumn Equinox (Mabon) and it'll be shipped on the 20th of September! 🌿 🍇 🍎

If any of you are fellow SAD hoomans, we've got this!!

Hi everyone 🌿 easing back into doing events and drawing more after an amazing Summer break 🌞

I've been kindly invited to have a stall at Leith St. Andrews on Saturday 5th of September! I illustrated the church a couple of years ago to help them promote events to educate people on the current plan to pass the church lease to the community!

It's a super exciting project and I'm delighted to attend their open day.

There will be some new bits and bobs in my stall, come down for a chat to find more about this very exciting project!

Super grateful to Shannon McQuade and James and everyone at Kelburn Garden Party to have given me the chance and space to add my tiny contribution to this year's festival in the Tea Cave!

The backrest for the Tea Cave benches I designed and made with James and Shannon were inspired on The Sun and The Moon tarot cards, to fit in with this year's theme in the cave ☀️ 🌙

I felt proper impostor syndrome when working alongside so many talented people and I've learned so much about the process behind setting up decor at a festival.

Best of all, I've learned that however many socks you think are enough to carry to Kelburn, no they're not enough!! 🌧️ ☔

I've been working on my Scottish nature sticker designs (inspired on the US national parks aesthetic) for a while so decided to do a wee review of their popularity in markets and my Etsy shop.

Which one is your favourite?

Not going to lie, having a full time job and trying to keep up with my creative small business is really tough sometimes! I burn out so much easier and this makes it super hard to complete any creative related tasks.

I was quite nervous about going back to markets this past weekend because I knew I wanted to give it my best.

Speaking to my maker pals, getting to know new amazing artists and feeling pampered by the organisers (special shout out to 's team for the check ins and tea and biscuits and for their bartender's quick response to wee rascals!!) has definitely refilled my creative juice and batteries!

Also feeling beyond privileged and grateful to anyone who's stopped to check out my art, engaged in conversation or bought something!

Will have new wee updates soon ✨

Come unveil my new seasonal Print pack!

📸 1 - 2: my two new prints that will be available in March / Ostara's print pack 🪻 inspired by the Spring equinox and featuring two native wildflowers from Scotland (nettles and bluebells)

📸3: Unpacking the order of prints from .work 🧡 it's my second time ordering my prints from them and couldn't be happier

📸4: Curating a vibe just to enjoy seeing the bulbs on the sycamore in my garden and to appreciate how bright the evenings are becoming ☀️

These two prints will form my March / Ostara seasonal print pack! How does it work? 👇🏼

- Every change of season (normally every month and a half / two months, following the Celtic calendar!) I'll create some artwork inspired by that time of the season!
- I'll put them on Etsy, so if you'd like to get one you can just go to the link on my bio and get it!
- The idea is to bring some mindful connection with nature through art ✨ so, when you get your pack, you'll have some carefully curated art that will show what is happening on the season and also a wee letter with some mindful ideas to enjoy it (on the third picture you can see some of the sources I'm using for this!)

Available for the first time at 's Night Market tomorrow in Linlithgow Low Port!
