This watches dates to 1910 which makes it 116 years old, it was made by Tavannes ( Cyma ) the case was made by Francois Borgel and was the first dustproof and water resistant Watch ( it wasn’t entirely waterproof ) cased in Sterling silver and Hallmarked London 1910, this is still a fabulous watch and all that history as well !

Dating to the mid 1950’s this is the Jaeger Le Coultre Futurematic it was the first ever without an extended crown to wind the watch, instead a winder which you slide not pull to set the time. The watch also features a Power Reserve Indicator, a watch so highly over engineered the brand ceased manufacturing it a mere 6 years after launch.
