Today’s watch is a Mappin watch, Mappin better known as Mappin & Webb are a prestigious Goldsmiths & Silversmiths based in the West End of London, trading since 1775 and hold a Royal Warrant.
This particular watch is in Sterling Silver and dates to 1916 possibly an officers watch as this was made during WW1.

This is a Doctors Watch dating to the mid 1930’s and branded Girard Perregaux, it’s also branded Mimolux, which is strange as the Mimo Watch Co had only recently saved Girard Perregaux from bankruptcy when this was made, so you had Mimo Watches and Girard Perregaux watches but rarely both brands on one dial !
