Last day in Tassie. A bit wet but that is ok because we had a towny day planned. First stop was New Norfolk where we found The Quilted Teapot. A cafe and Quilt shop. Only one little purchase here.
Then on to Wafu Works in Hobart. Better shopping there for me. Her shop made me feel like I was back in Japan. 🤭
Sorry no photos, we were so busy talking.
But look out for new inspiration I got from her.

I thought it was past time for a fabric Show and Tell. These are from the Village Sampler, just out of Launceston. The plaids are a French General Layer Cake.

A beautiful little town just out of Launceston called Evandale. It was so worth a trip out to. Lovely people to chat to - the lady who sits on her doorstep in the sun most mornings while she spins, the man in the Japanese Antique shop and a lovely cafe for breakfast. Plus of course all the old houses.

The Remarkable Cave near Port Arthur - only about 120 steps down and up again. Well worth it. The view through the rocks is said to look like the shape of Tasmania making it remarkable. But it is the colour of the rocks that make it remarkable to me.

Just a little bit of fabric and lace shopping in Tasmania over the last two days.
