Soooo for anyone who hasn't been keeping tabs on my stories I've gradually been making headway with these latest books in between life stuff.
Here's me about to start attachin' covers (if you'll excuse the background mess) after sewing and securing the headbands, and strengthening the spines.

I know this has nothing whatsoever to do with books or book binding BUT I just wanted to share this finished blackboard I designed and drew for work! Not bad for a first go at a big board like this.

I tried to edit this video so it looks slightly less shoddy but I'm laughably terrible at this. On the plus side I did manage to round these spines quite nicely! Next: sewing headbands.

Well looky here! I started these text blocks... a year ago? I made these with the intention of rekindling my passion for book binding by improving my skill. A whole year later and I finally feel ready to complete these bad bois.

OHGODIMLATEBUTHERE. It's day eight of sharing my handmade books.

This is a little lined notebook that would make an adorable gardening journal. I'd keep this for myself but unfortunately I have plant-murdering fingers (although I did water the aloe vera the other day and it's looking less orange and desperate).

It's day eight and I reeaally like this one. We're back to the recycled kraft pages, and this time I've paired them with this bloody gorgeous Japanese lantern paper.

Day uuuhhhh... seven. Day seven! Here's something just a little different - a Proper Sketchbook with Proper Sketchbook Pages. Enviro 170gsm paper made partly from recycled coffee cups ☕ all bound into this very funky looking book featuring a tastefully-covered zebra butt.

Iiiiiits day six! And this time I've decided to show off this bonanza of peacocks!

I've paired this beaut of a design with recycled kraft paper that's frankly itching to have oil pastels all over it.

Oooookay here comes day number two of shamelessly shoving books under your nose!

I couldn't resist the combination of blank and lined pages and thought it would make quite a curious diary or combination journal/sketchbook for someone who fancied something a bit more unique. So I made this. Ta da!
