Happy Wednesday 💚

Middle of the week already! How’s your week going?

I am pleased to say that the paper tape is proving popular and I am loving it too 😍 look at this parcel heading out. Covered in paper tape and containing paper tape! It’s all about the paper tape 🤣😍
It’s so lovely to use.

Do you mind reused packaging being used to send parcels out?
Nice to be able to pretty them up now. 💚
If you would like to do the same, you can find these in my eco swap swap (link in comments)
Have a lovely day

Happy Tuesday 💙

Hope your week has started off well? Yesterday was busy for me!

I don’t know if you know I do a monthly sample club with Neal’s Yard products. It’s £5. You get 2 samples including postage and 10% off one order with me. You can just opt in for the products you want to try 😍

These are the 2 products for this month-

Neal’s yard lavender and aloe cooling cream. It is lovely and cooling for the summer and all year round. Great for sensitive and dry skin and to cool irritated skin from sunburn and insect bites.

A soothing blend of moisturising honey, cooling aloe vera and plantain tincture works with skin-calming lavender essential oil to provide refreshing relief for all skin types. Gentle enough for the whole family, this quickly absorbing, multipurpose cream can be used all over the body to leave skin cooled, calmed and comfortable.

The other product is one of my favourites and I use regularly. Neal’s Yard Bee Lovely Hand Cream. The gorgeous orange scent you get from it just makes you want to use it! I rub it in and take a deep breath of the scent, a moment of mindfulness in the day! It is made with moisturising, fair trade organic honey from Mexico and uplifting, sun ripened Italian and Mexican oranges, it conditions skin and lifts the spirits.

Any questions pop them in the comments or message me 😊

Happy Monday and Happy 1st June 💜
I can’t believe we’re in June already, half way through the year! This month is a busy birthday month for us -me, both kids, my stepson and Luna 🐶! Dave always manages to sneak in with Fathers Day even though he has his birthday on his own 🤣

As I haven’t done a meet the maker for ages and it’s a new month here goes! I am Lindsay, if you don’t already know me.

I started my business journey off with my crochet business. I became ill with ME/Fibromyalgia in 2010 and I needed to find something to do. I fell in love with crochet as I found it helped my anxiety and I loved you could do it from the bed/sofa. I love you can create your own patterns and makes. I have also always been passionate about the environment and use recycled yarns in my projects wherever possible 💚💜

This led me to also finding other eco friendly swaps and setting up my own mini eco swap shop to share products I have discovered and love 💚

This also led me to Neal’s Yard skincare and wellbeing, as I trust they are ethical, sustainable and eco friendly. I used to use their products many years ago when I was nursing just outside London, as their first store was in the 80’s in Covent Garden.(yes I am that old now 🤣)

Is there anything else you would like to ask me?
Do share a fact about you so we can get to know each other better 😊

I am helping my son with some revision, so using the brain!

Happy Friday 💚

This week has flown by, how has your week been?

I shared these gorgeous paper tapes last week in my unboxing. I still haven’t added them to my eco swap shop, blame half term 🙈
Today is the day! I thought I would share them with you again today in case you missed them!

They are from a lovely company called cascayde_ who are helping people to cut down on plastic, while still keeping things pretty 😍

I had been looking for fragile and thank you paper tape for my parcels for a while and was so excited to find these. Do you use paper tape on your parcels?

Any questions do shout. Are there any designs you would like to see?

Happy Thursday 💙

It’s still so hot here, how is it where you are?

Since I showed the natural bleach yesterday, I thought I would share my other option for toilet cleaning. I do love these, they are so easy to use and I find they work so well. I also love they are probiotic, if you have followed me for a while, you know I love products with good bacteria in, that keep on cleaning after you have stopped 😍

Any questions do ask

Happy Wednesday 💚

How are you finding the heat? I am struggling. We came back from my mums later than planned as I couldn’t face being in the car with it so hot 🥵
I am sorry I haven’t managed to answer all your comments, I have been busy doing some things to help her. I am going to catch up today and hopefully hide in front of the fan!

Eco Living Natural Bleach is now in stock in my eco swap shop. It is also known as oxygen bleach or Percarbonate of Soda. It is a safe and non-toxic, biodegradable alternative to harsh chlorine bleach. When it dissolves in water it releases oxygen which acts as a powerful stain remover, deodoriser and disinfectant.

It breaks down harmlessly to oxygen, water and sodium carbonate. This miracle product brightens both whites and coloured fabrics and prevents them from yellowing. It’s great at removing organic stains like tea and coffee, fruit juice, food sauces, grass stains, pet stains, blood and red wine. Natural Bleach is also a great alternative to chlorine bleach in the bathroom. You can dissolve it in warm water to safely clean and disinfect the loo and clean drains. You can also use it to easily and safely clean and bleach sinks, baths and general household cleaning.

To make a Stain remover -
Use 2-4 tablespoons in a bowl of warm water as a pre-soak to remove stains. As a stain-removal booster, add 2 tablespoon (or 4 tablespoons for tougher stains) to the laundry powder in your washing machine dispenser drawer to brighten whites and eliminate odours.

General cleaner and disinfectant
To make the solution - Add 4 tablespoons in 1 Litre of hot water. Brilliant to clean ovens, bins and toilets. For wood: brush with the solution, wait for 10 to 15 minutes then brush again and rinse well. For Stone: Apply solution and rinse well particularly on limestone, marble slabs, etc.

To unblock and clean a sink drain:
Pour 2-3 tablespoons in the hole of your sink, add boiling water on top. Wait few minutes and rinse.

Happy Tuesday 💙

Hope you enjoyed your bank holiday weekend. We had a lovely time at my mums and are back today 😍

Do you use a lip balm?
I use mine all the time, especially in the winter. Do you love a tin or a stick?
I have a tin at home and a stick in my bag

The Bee lovely lip balm is one of my most popular products and I Iove it too. It is organic and scented with uplifting organic orange essential oil. With moisturising cocoa butter, beeswax and fair trade organic honey from Mexico, it nourishes and softens lips. I use it regularly and my lips feel so much better for it. It comes in a tin

The other lip balm they have is this stick lip balm. It contains replenishing organic shea nut butter and antioxidant-rich rosehip oil to naturally nourish dry and chapped lips.
