More change in 2025!
I've decided that it's time to say goodbye to pocketsandsedition.co.uk. It won't surprise anybody to hear that the costs have risen and it just isn't financially viable to keep the website going.
It was absolutely perfect for me starting out in 2020 when I did this full time and wanted to have total control over what I was putting out there. However, soon I'll only be sewing one day a week and I just can't justify the admin of building and maintaining a website when I should be using that time to make beautiful things!
I trialled Etsy over the Christmas period and am pleased to say I'll be sticking with it. Thank you guys for checking me out and following! I had some really helpful feedback, mainly that it was much easier to use and you may have previously stored card details, making purchases quicker and more convenient.
The downside of this change does mean that I can't tailor make discounts like I have been and, due to listing costs, will only select certain items to include on Etsy.
What are your thoughts on Etsy vs own site?
