A little look at wedding season so far… 🌸

These aren’t all the weddings I’ve flowered this year, but they are a few of my favourites. From colourful tropical designs to soft, romantic palettes, every wedding has been completely different, and that’s one of the things I love most about this job.

Getting to bring each couple’s ideas to life, work at some beautiful venues, and spend my days surrounded by flowers never gets old.

Thank you to every couple who has trusted me with such an important part of their day. I’ve still got plenty more weddings to come this year, and I can’t wait to share them with you. ✨

When Frankie told me she wanted tropical flowers… I was instantly excited 🌴🔥

Bold colours, orchids, birds of paradise, giant monstera leaves and all the fun textures I could possibly fit into a bouquet. Weddings like this are SUCH a joy to create and I honestly love when couples trust me to do something a bit different.

Safe to say I was obsessed with these flowers from start to finish 🫶✨ And Frankie & Phil were an absolute dream to work with too.

I take a very thoughtful approach to your wedding flowers — and this naturally shapes how I work.

I don’t work alongside any other suppliers creating floral arrangements for weddings — whether that’s faux flowers, DIY elements, or flowers made by friends or family.

It’s not about being restrictive, it’s about protecting the overall design and the experience I want you to have.

My work is rooted in celebrating the beauty of natural flowers, and creating something that feels seamless, calm and beautifully put together.

When I design a wedding, I’m considering everything as a whole — how each arrangement connects, how the colours and textures flow, and how it all comes together in the space.

Keeping it under one creative direction means I can fully stand behind the quality, ensure everything feels cohesive, and bring your vision to life in a way that feels effortless and refined.

When additional support is needed, I work with carefully selected freelancers who understand and uphold the Violet Petal style — ensuring the same level of detail and finish throughout.

And just as importantly, it keeps things simple for you — one floral designer, your vision, everything taken care of.

Third time in print… which still feels a bit surreal to say 🤍

This shoot was one of those where everything just came together — the setting, the details, the people behind it. Being part of a team like this makes such a difference, and I feel very lucky to have worked alongside so many talented suppliers (and genuinely lovely humans).

Every detail was thought through so beautifully — from the styling to the music, the food, the outfits — and it all came together so effortlessly on the day. It’s always a good sign when you’re still thinking about a shoot long after it’s finished.

And seeing it featured in Your Devon & Cornwall Wedding Magazine again is such a proud moment ✨
