Today I am at the lawn in Dawlish with Darcy Sophia for Dawlish carnival week.

We have crystals for sale and various treatments on offer.

There is live music, food, owls and many stalls to browse.

I will be here on Thursday 20th as well if you aren't able to make it down today.

Northosite (otherwise known as Anorthosite) resonates with both the crown chakra through the triclinic crystal system, and the base chakra through its black/grey colour.

Carrying Northosite in a pocket can be helpful if you have been feeling isolated or disconnected from others. This crystal may also be useful if it feels like no one understands you.

Wearing Northosite as a bracelet aids with balancing the whole energy system and encourages the feeling of being in control of a situation.

Meditating with this crystal guides us to see the bigger picture, or examine a situation from another point of view.
With a hardness of 6 on the Mohs scale, Northosite is suitable to use to create gem water. Sipping this water throughout the day can help with integrating changes.

Placing this crystal under your pillow while you sleep can encourage your mind to switch off, but some people may find it a touch too energetic for sleeping.

Phosphosiderite is a crystal containing Phosphate and Iron. Most examples of this stone are lavender pink to red coloured, but it can also be brown, green or colourless.

Phosphosiderite resonates with the brow chakra, and can be placed here during a crystal layout to bring clarity of thought.

Carrying a piece of Phosphosiderite in a pocket or bag may help if your energy is feeling stagnant, as this crystal has a pulsating vibration that can help to move and release sluggish energy blocks.

This stone can be used to create gem water, but make sure you use the indirect method as it only has a hardness of 3.5 – 4 on the Mohs scale. Sipping this water throughout the day encourages expansion of the mind and aura, helping us to connect with others.

Meditating with , or placing under the pillow at night, may help with easing a headache and clearing a busy mind.

Red Wine Quartz gets its colour from inclusions of Hematite (which is naturally red unless polished, then it appears silver).

This is a grounding crystal that also stimulates the base chakra. Place Red Wine Quartz at the base chakra during a crystal layout if you are feeling sluggish or lacking in energy.

The Cambridge Dictionary defines holistic as “dealing with or treating the whole of something or someone and not just a part:”

Crystal therapy and Reiki work with the whole body’s system: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual to clear and relax on all levels.

Reiki brings in Universal energy for the client – this energy naturally goes to where it is needed. This is a very relaxing treatment and clients often feel refreshed and peaceful after a Reiki session.

Crystal healing utilises crystals in various forms (tumblestones, rough stones, pendulums, etc) to work with the client’s energy; releasing stress, pent-up emotions and calming the mind.
