From our workshop in 'The Old Cow Shed', a beautiful converted farm building in rural Derbyshire, we hand make vintage-inspired signs from reclaimed and up cycled wood and nostalgic enamel. Along side our range of handmade signs we have handpicked a selection of homewares to complete the 'Delightful' look. We currently sell online through our own website and through a selection of carefully selected retailers in independent gift shops and online.

🏳️‍🌈📣Pride Month has made me think about something I don’t say often enough.📣🏳️‍🌈

Like many people, we’ve been watching Tip Toe by Russell T Davies. It was a powerful reminder that visibility, acceptance and kindness can never be taken for granted, and that there are times when it’s important to say clearly where you stand 🏳️‍🌈

If I’m honest, I’ve hesitated over posting something for Pride Month in the past because I never wanted it to feel like a token gesture or a box-ticking exercise. But staying silent can say something too.

So this feels like the right time to say it.

At Delightful Living, whoever you love, however you identify, you are welcome here.

Not just in June. Not because it’s Pride Month. Every day of the year.

We want our shops to be places where people feel comfortable, valued and able to be themselves. A place where everyone is treated with kindness, respect and warmth.

After making giant paper flowers to decorate The Mews, so many of you asked to buy them…. so we’ve made some just for you!

They’re big at 50cm diameter… and they look beautiful 😍

Use them to add a pop of Summer colour indoors, or use outside to decorate for a Summer party (but don’t leave them outside because they won’t like getting wet ☔️)

You’ll find them looking pretty in The Mews, just waiting to find their forever homes! 🌸😍🌸

🏡 The Courtyard Barn – beautiful new home fragrances by Olive and B. Cotton throws, cushions and rugs. Summer bunting, paper lanterns and starburst lights.

🌿 The Bothy – ceramic plant pots and zinc planters and troughs. Colourful outdoor rugs and cushions. Potted hydrangeas and dahlias for the garden. French soaps, dinner candles and solar garden decorations.

🌸 The Mews – our boutique homewares department has taken delivery of beautiful recycled glass jars, lanterns, colourful glass candlesticks and stunning faux peonies, hydrangeas and dahlias in soft summer shades.

Today has been all about the bundle of legs that is Loulou! 🐾

Our gorgeous girl is five today 🎉

Loulou joined us in March 2025 after retiring from her racing life. She swapped the tracks for snacks and found her forever sofa with us 🥰.

We couldn’t have wished for a more gentle, loving, sweet and goofy girl. She’s amazing! 🤩

It’s been great seeing so many people out and about enjoying all that the glorious Peak District has to offer. And our little corner of it is no exception - Eyam Hall Courtyard has been busy, buzzy and more beautiful than ever in the May sunshine 🤩

Here at Delightful Living we’ve been taking daily deliveries of new stock - topping up the best sellers and bringing some newness to the shelves across all three stores…

💝 in The Barn we’ve had a fresh delivery of rugs, throws and cushions in beautiful shades of blues, greens and pinks.

🌸The Bothy is full of colour with show-off pink dahlias, gorgeous hydrangeas and colourful bedding plants to give your garden a summery pop

🛍️The rails in The Mews are bursting with newness… from summery dresses, sun hats and kimonos to a restock of our best selling denim jackets
