Here comes the sun ☀️

Pardon my french, but, f**k me, that was scorchio out there today at the Porthleven harbour. A gorgeous day filled to the brim with all things summery and shiny. A simple thank you never seems enough really - but I mean it with more weight than you'd think.

From the whys behind the pocket hug purchase, a chat, a high five, a hug (lots of hugs) a laugh and some cake, to many a shared story. These interactions are just a few highlights from my weekend with you.

You're all bleekin' beautiful and I appreciate it all.

Who's feeling autumnal? 🍂

Maybe it's just me, but my cooking apples are falling from the tree, the seed heads are everywhere and so are the blackberries! How is it faring where you are?

This flower pocket is my smallest yet and features a simple black sgrafitto boarder and the seed head from one of my garden alliums. Her new owner was thrilled with it, enough that another family member hopped over to my stall and purchased her big sister pressed with olives (from my tree, Olivia, of course!!)

I hope you all have a restful weekend, and if you happen to be mooching around in Truro, you are in for a treat as CORNWALL SHOP SMALL will be set up doing their residency curated market on the Lemon quay from 9-4. Please do come over and see us, you'd be most welcome. ✨️

The Sea Will Set You Free 💙

All set up here today in the beautiful Porthleven pergolas next to the harbour until 5pm ✨️

I've got some newbies for you including this sea inspired plate that features pressings of local seaweed and sgrafitto swirls. Hopefully she finds a new home soon for those that feel free by the sea! 🌊 Let me know if you want first dibs!

Saturday we're back on the Lemon Quay with CORNWALL SHOP SMALL for The BIG Truro Market which features a whole host of wonderful small indie local makers. We'll be there 9-4 to welcome you, please do head over and say hi if you're around. ☀️

A gorgeous recent plate commission ✨️

She has it all - from seaweed & shells, to herbs and mighty oak leafs. It was a pleasure to make this unique plate, that I hope it will bring many years of joy to her owners.

Thank you so much for trusting me with your ideas - I love seeing these pieces come to life. ♡♡♡

Please note my commissions close this Saturday 8th August as I'm away for the end of the summer hols.

Saturday was a lovely market in Truro with Truro Farmers Market

We took to Boscawen St, while the Lemon Quay saw the Celebration of Culture Day- it was a super vibrant and fun day to say the least. Thank you for coming to say hi, and all of your support and happy energy.

I'm really pleased to be back in Porthleven twice this week, Thurday and Sunday to see you, and Saturday I'll be back with the CORNWALL SHOP SMALL crew for The BIG Truro Market.

August Dates Are Here🌙✨️☀️

How the blooming heck are we walzting into August already! The sunshine has probably had us all in a hazy spin, but here we are on the threshold of awesome August!

I've seen some blackberries out already, some golden leaves, and lots and lots of beautiful long tall (dry!) grasses swaying in a welcome breeze. As we enter late Summer, here's where you can find me and my botanical ceramics.

Something different today!

This pretty seaweed platter has been on an epic journey the last 24 hours! Not long had she peeped out of the kiln last night, when she was taken to the ever beautiful Porthleven Market this morning to see the tide come into the harbour. Shortly thereafter a lovely lady came to give her a new home up north!

Fair winds and following seas! 🌊

Happy Tuesday ✨️

I hope your week is going well. Today I will be lustre painting and loading the kiln up again ready for a firing, in the hope that I'll have lots of new pieces of sparklies ready for Porthleven Market this Thursday. While I'm there in beautiful Porthleven, I'll also be delivering an exciting little order off to Swanpool Paper too which fills my heart with joy... more on that soon!

If you've been awaiting a message about your commission, I'll be doing that by the end of the week!! ☆♡☆

It feels like a whole new season today here in Cornwall with rain overnight, and a windy start to welcome Sunday in! Much needed and appreciated!

This week has been all about Porthleven for me (and working in between markets on comissions) Thank you to Porthleven Market for having me this week, the traders are all soooo beautiful and generous (from cake to other handmade gifts!!) I've really enjoyed meeting some new folk too. Listening to your stories on what brings you to Cornwall is so inspiring and tops up my happy cup ♡☆♡

I shall be back in Porthleven this Thursday, and then return to Truro Farmers Market on Saturday for the Celebration of Culture day. They'll be LOTS of new pieces heading out with me, eyes down for a bisque unload today in my stories!
