Well, I’ll bee buzzing a little slower for the next few weeks. 🐝 😢
Printer cartridges that arrived today are faulty so had to bee returned and new ones on order… fortunately I had already printed off something needed for the repeat order book lamp and another background for another so that’s a positive!
Too hot for making using ecoresin as it cures too quickly but I’ll bee sure to look into completing projects that I can! 🐝

Bee-n wondering how yesterday’s projects are progressing? 🐝

Well they’re currently still drying BUT I have bee-n at a crafters gathering this morning and buzzing with ideas for how to share my creations and processes with you over the next few weeks! 🐝
(Big shout out to Nicole from Urban Tails Handmade Pet Accessories for her input/discussion. 🥰)

There might even bee some designs for other crafters to try out… would this bee of interest to anyone, particularly cardmakers perhaps?? 🐝

Drop some suggestions in the comments for what you’d like to bee able to use.. background papers? toppers? What themes would you like to see…. I have lots of different ones available from fantasy & steampunk, pets & animals, flowers, sports & hobbies and many more that you would bee able to put to good use! 🐝

So after snacking, resting and bee-ing all round ‘surviving’ the morning, my busy brain just wouldn’t bee ‘quiet’!! 🐝
Decided I also needed to get on with another book lamp commission so here’s what’s happened so far for the first stage - resources gathered! (Some up cycled packing to prepare, bottles to prep and good quality air dry clay to use)You can bee sure that I only use ‘quality ingredients’ in all the layers of work… both seen and unseen and always as ‘sustainable’ as I can make it to bee eco-friendly! 🐝 (It takes a while to craft by hand from various resources rather than ‘buy and decorate’ so remember to look out for that next time you’re looking for something truly crafted) Decided to use the bottle caps too for a bee-friendly garden project & got a couple of new design ideas buzzing about too so you’ll have to check back and see how I get on! 🐝

Today’s to-do list… ❤️

✔️ Survive.
✔️ Maybe have a snack.
✔️ Call that good enough.

We often measure ourselves by everything we didn’t get done.

The emails left unanswered.
The washing still in the basket.
The plans that had to wait.

But some days, simply making it through is an achievement in itself.

If today has been one of those days, please don’t be too hard on yourself. Rest isn’t giving up. Slowing down isn’t failing. And surviving difficult days takes more strength than most people realise.

So here’s your gentle reminder from the Bee…

You don’t have to do everything today. You just have to get through today. 🐝❤️

Thanks to everyone who came along and stopped by for a chat or gone home with one of my creations. It was bee-rilliant to see everyone and look forward to bee-ing back last Saturday in August (Saturday 29thAug) 🐝

Resting my bee wings for a few weeks up until then so no in person events but bee sure to pop in to The Crafters Collective CIC where you’ll find my creations and also lots of other locally handcrafted things too.

🤭 Just bee-n pointed out to me that it doesn’t say on any of the posters that The Hart of Craft is in The Hart shopping centre in Fleet! 🐝
Bee-n great to see so many people out and about 🐝 Here until around 4pm when it’s start packing up time for me!! 🤪🤣🤭 🐝🐝🐝
