🩷 A beautiful day🩷
What a lovely day at Adisham Village Fete. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, shared stories about their gardens and wildlife and chose our nature-inspired gifts. It was so refreshing to meet so many people who genuinely care about nature and wildlife and want to encourage the next generation to love it too.

On my way home, I walked past a garden with just three lavender bushes and counted over 35 bees busily feeding from them.

🍃Three plants. More than 35 bees being supported.

If that isn’t proof that even the smallest patch of nature can make a real difference, I don’t know what is. We don’t all need huge gardens or acres of land to help wildlife—sometimes all it takes is a few pollinator-friendly plants.

Supporting nature really can start with something as simple as planting a little lavender. 🐝

🍃A note from Fable and Ren… 🌿

🐝 It feels like the right time for a little update.

A little while ago we left our cosy, beautiful hut at Badgers Hill. Setting up a small shopping space was a huge step for us, but one we’ll always be grateful for. It gave Fable & Ren a home, helped get our name known, made amazing friends and welcomed friendly visitors.

Since then it’s been non-stop. Packing everything up, organising stock and even squeezing in the buzzing Kent County Show. It’s been busy, exciting… and if I’m honest, completely exhausting!

If you know me, you’ll know I’m not good at stopping. Home life is full, always at 100mph, buzzing with ideas and onto the next thing! August is already waving at us! But sometimes the busiest minds need to pause.

So after Adisham fair we’re going to take a very small breather. A chance to catch up with family, tick off the ever-growing list of jobs, have a proper reset, reflect on everything we’ve learnt and give Fable & Ren the little revamp it’s been waiting for and deserves.

We’re not going anywhere—just taking a small moment to recharge, reflect and revamp. Thank you, as always, for following along and supporting our little business. We can’t wait to see whats next 🤎🌿

Another day, another rescue. This time it was “baby Geoff” who tried fledging a bit too early. He survived the storm but started to wilt very quickly in this heat and mum was nowhere to be seen. The rescue centre suggested sugar water on a cotton bud on the side of his beak…..and it worked ❤️. Geoff is off for some strength building before he’s released back out into his home. Love a success story however small 🥰
