Then we have Historical fiction.

And don’t forget there are many other genres but I’d be here all month talking about them 🤣

These will transport the readers to vividly reimagined past eras through unforgettable characters and story line.

📚I have enjoyed reading Kristen Hannah books and learning about past events and the emotions involved. We have read at the book club, All the Light we can not see which is also on Netflix.
These have made me appreciate some of the history and what people went through.

Hope this has been helpful and given you some ideas for trying something new!

Next up we have Romance ❤️

For me, I like a romance or beach read to break up all the thrillers and murder 🤣

This genre can range from witty contemporary rom com to emotional small town loves and not forgetting romantasy, spice and dark romance. 🌶️

You might hear the work trope which is a recurring theme, plot devise that appears frequently within a genre. Eg, fake dating, enemies to lovers.

📚Attending a book club either virtually or physically is a nice way to explore different genres and hear why people love them!
