Installation - ‘Drowning not waving’ found objects with text - chosen as a finalist for WAA - shown at Devon Open studios 2020 in Seaton - as each hand (which 50% often do) falls an instruction is revealed E.g. ‘give a hand out’
This piece was inspired by the loss of a refugee ship. My forefathers/mothers were refugees from religious persecution in the late 1500’s/early 1600’s
