Thank you all for the support for the CRUK silver ring workshop next Saturday.

Thanks to everyone who has booked a place on the workshop we have already raised and donated £440.

Being on a mission to bump this up to £500 we have a few plans to raise some more pennies over the next week.

Big thanks to Lady Heyes, Pod Kitchen and The Candy Club for hosting collection tins.

Massive thanks to Vicki at Tropic for offering free pamper sessions for our attendees, and for making a donation for every purchase made on the day.

Be Kreative Photography is offering portrait photos for a donation to the cause too. Keith will be outside the studio on Saturday afternoon and is happy to create lasting memories of your pets too.

We are very grateful to The Flower Cart for providing lovely freshly picked, locally grown flowers for each of our lovely workshop attendees to take home as an extra treat on the day.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. Like many of you both myself and Mr HVS have lost people who were very important to us to Cancer. The pup pup had a wonderful day in the workshop today, spent a lot of time on several people's knees, got taken out by one of our lovely attendees, enjoyed a good bark at a poor innocent Jake Russell, and blagged an extra bowl of food to distract him from being bad!

We had a really good day in the workshop, making silver clay charms but unfortunately I completely forgot to take any photos. Trust me, they were really marvelous.

Meet the lovely Holly from Marsh Farm Flowers.

We have been talking lots lately about creating a very special full day silver and flowers experience, right in the middle of her rather wonderful flowers.

Start the day with a tour of the farm with Holly, who will fill you in on the life of a flower farmer.

Once you have chosen some foliage and flowers to work with you will spend a lovely morning creating moulds and preparing silver charms using the vary magical silver clay, with Clare (that's me!)

While your charms are drying, you will be guided in collecting a bucket of the most amazingly fresh blooms you can imagine, picked straight off the farm by you!

Then it's time for a picnic and homemade cake, relaxing in the stunning farm environment surrounded by the sounds of the wonderful Cheshire countryside, before spending the rest of the afternoon firing and polishing your silver botanical charms.

I'm honestly so excited about this, it's going to be a really special day.

We have dates pencilled in for next spring, so keep your eye out for more detail.

I frequently get asked if you need prior experience before attending one of our workshops or classes, and the answer is no!

Most workshops are completely beginner friendly. I'm not going to pretend that all of them are easy, because they aren't and some of them are more complex than others but we can always get a beginner through them.

There are a lot of steps in making what looks like a simple ring, and remember that people spend years perfecting their craft so its not always going to be easy on your first attempt, but since when was easy fun? Come along and challenge yourself to learn something new, and walk away with a massive sense of pride in what you have achieved.
