Reflecting on what was an incredible and extraordinary day in London at the March for Unity ✊❤️🌈🇵🇸 Sharing the day with wonderful humans from Diss and Bury St Edmunds, standing up to racism, with love, peace, empathy and humanity. A historic moment in time, half a million people gathered together in solidarity 🩷💛💙❤️💚💜🤍🤎🖤🩵🧡

Happy Mothers Day to all the incredible women and caregivers who nurture, love and support the next generation. This was a beautiful exhibition by artist that I visited back in December with my Aunt in Preston at The Harris Museum, entitled Ocean Mother. So beautiful, full of colour and celebration of a Mothers love, personal stories stitched into fabric and decorated with all the little details with such care and love.
Thinking of all the mothers in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Sudan, DRC, and many other places of conflict and oppression, who have lost their children and are struggling against all adversity to love and care for their children. I am not a mother myself but I share their pain and loss. I also stand in solidarity with those who find this day difficult due to grief, broken relationships and illness. Human relationships and bonds are multifaceted and life experiences and circumstances can be unpredictable. Sending love ❤️ and light out to you all ###

Lots of Little Swift lovingly handmade recycled leather jewellery hoping to find its way into someone’s Christmas stocking 🎄✨💗 If you’re in South Norfolk, No 8 Marketplace has an emporium of artists and makers, alongside vinyl records, pre loved clothing, vintage, books, plants and fine foods, with a cosy cafe serving the best coffee, teas and hot chocolate.

I made myself a White Peace Poppy on Wednesday and am wearing it to symbolise my pledge for peace and unity in this world. My granda Jimmy served in the Second World War and had told me that there are never any winners in war, only losers on all sides. As a human race we should be able to resolve our differences without resorting to violent conflict, that’s what democracy is all about. There has been so many innocent lives damaged and destroyed by an ever growing industrial military complex, which makes obscene amounts of money from killing and maiming human beings. It’s time to stop 🛑 ☮️ ✌️❤️ 🕊️

Yesterday was the last day of our 2 week Gaza Remains the Story Exhibition in collaboration with the We have been so humbled by the support and had I’m guessing over 500 visitors to the exhibition from across the Suffolk and Norfolk counties and further afield. People have engaged with the exhibits, learned new things about Palestine, the art, culture and heritage and brought their own stories to us of time spent in Palestine and their experiences. We have danced Dabke, celebrated creativity and our shared humanity. It has been joyful and extremely special and meaningful. If you visited, thank you 🙏❤️🇵🇸
