Our Service
Local Support for older people within Gateshead to maintain independence in their own homes with the help of a friendly face that they will see and speak to whenever they need to. We will gain the confidence of our clients and be that familiar face that they see and talk to with any queries or concerns they have or just to have a chat to. We will offer the first 30 minutes free to comp
lete a Holistic Needs Assessment/Care plan to get to know the person and find out what help and support they require and how frequent. We offer two packages at Friendly Faces and these are tailored to each individuals needs that suit them and their families. We offer a Care package and a Home help package and they can both be used together or separately. Home help packages include but are not limited to:
• Shopping service
• Pension collection
• Bill paying
• Prescription collection
• Accompanying to Medical appointments
• Home cleaning service
• Companionship/Befriending
This service is a paid for service and will be charged at £15.00 per hour. If the client(s) wishes to be accompanied to an appointment or wishes to go out anywhere mileage costs will be added on top of the £15 per hour rate. We do offer 30-minute visits too which are offered at £7.50 per hour. Personal Care packages include but are not limited to:
• Support/Assistance with Washing and bathing
• Support/Assistance with Dressing and un******ng
• Medication prompts/assistance
• Continence Care
This service is a paid for service and will be charged at £18.00 per hour. We do offer 30-minute visits too which are offered at £9 per hour. Our team have worked with older people for over 10 years and have the following cover for reassurance for ourselves and our clients.
